Fern Jessop is a Director and Producer born and raised in West Yorkshire. Her passion for creating film comes from her background in acting and the art of performance, and she has worked both in front of and behind the camera on a number of short films.
Jessop built the foundations of her career in the production department, having successfully produced and assistant-directed her first short films (science-fiction thriller 'MANTARO' and 1920s period thriller 'Bury In Winter') in 2022. In 2023, Jessop went into production on her directorial debut 'Out Like A Lamb', as a writer-director and producer. Slated for release in 2024 'Out Like A Lamb' is a both a British family drama and a homage to her birthplace and the people that populate it.
