Agung Tri Setiawan is an emerging Indonesian filmmaker, born in Malang in 2001. He is currently pursuing a career in directing and screenwriting. His directorial debut, “Melahap Mentari”, received the Favorite Film award at the Movimax Film Festival 2020. In 2023, his short film “Asmo” was selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists in the “Preventing Stunting is Important” Short Film Competition, organized by the Malang City Government. Most recently, in 2024, he produced “Tumbal Layar”, which was nominated for Best Short: General Category at the Doss Short Film Festival.
