Biography
Robert Markovich is a retired American professional wrestler, best known by his ring names Bob Bradley and Battle Kat. Over his career, he competed in major promotions such as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), All Japan Pro Wrestling, and the National Wrestling Conference (NWC). Trained by "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Bradley debuted in 1982 in the WWF, initially working as enhancement talent and facing notable wrestlers like Jimmy Snuka, Blackjack Mulligan, and Buddy Rose. During this period, he occasionally performed under masked personas such as The Tiger and The Red Demon. In WCCW, he achieved his greatest success by winning a tournament for the Texas Heavyweight Championship, and he later competed in the UWF and WCW before returning to the WWF. In 1990, Bradley received a significant push when he adopted the acrobatic character Battle Kat, a role that saw him defeat several mid-card wrestlers. However, the gimmick was short-lived, and he returned to enhancement talent duties until his WWF departure in 1998. After leaving the WWF, Bradley continued on the independent circuit, appearing in promotions such as the NWC, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, and the Empire Wrestling Federation, retiring definitively in 2002. His career is noted for his versatility, work as enhancement talent, and his brief but memorable run as a masked character in the WWF.
