Wang Yu (忘语) is one of the contemporary Chinese internet novelists, the founder of the Mortal Genre of Xiuxian novels, and is now a platinum writer of Qidian.
His real name is Ding Lingtao (丁凌滔), born in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China . He once worked in a company in Xuzhou. After the success of the novel Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, he resigned and became a full-time online writer. Main works: Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, Demon’s Diary and The Portal of Wonderland.
