Biography
Aysultan Seitov is a Kazakh film director and music video director. He is a graduate of the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum in Astana and later completed his education at the New York Film Academy, specializing in directing. During his studies, he directed a short film titled Shakal, which won the "Best Direction" award at the Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival in New York in 2016. Aysultan’s first music video was for the song By the Wind by Jaya Miyazaki. His first major projects include the music video Zhanim Sol for the band Moldanazar and a video for the group Ninety One, which was never published. He is also known for directing the music video for Medina by Jah Khalib, which became the most expensive music video in the history of Kazakhstan. In addition to his work in music videos, Aysultan directed a documentary short film called Charisma, which focuses on the duo MiyaGi & Endspiel. In March 2019, he appeared as a guest on the popular Russian YouTube talk show vDud.
