Joy was born in Dallas Texas and raised in Waxahachie Texas. Joy co-founded The Actors Arena in 2013, with Terry Kiser. She is an award winning producer with her most recent win at the Bare Bones International Film Festival for the film This Old Violin. She is the owner of Nine Owls Films.
Joy is also CFO and Co-Owner of Savir Foods. Savir Food's sauce Jala Pepa appeared on Season 15 of Hot Ones by First We Feast.
