Giuliano Robert is a Brazilian Deaf filmmaker from Curitiba, Paraná, and one of the pioneers of Deaf representation in Brazilian cinema. His work has been screened at more than 400 festivals in Brazil and internationally. He holds a degree in Photography from Centro Europeu and works as a photographer for the Deaf Theatre Showcase at the Curitiba Festival and for the Center for Deaf Culture (CCS) at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), in partnership with Brazil’s Ministry of Culture (MinC).
