She received her acting education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Performing and Visual Arts. She played the character Kader in the TV series Beni Affet, which was filmed in Ankara, for nine seasons starting from 2011. In 2013, she married actor Osman Karakoç. In 2015, she starred in the play Terapi Ötesi, produced by Aysa Produksiyon. She continued her series acting by starring in Maria and Mustafa and Akıncı series. In 2019, she moved to Istanbul. In 2022, she played the character of Nursema in the series Cranberry Sorbet, which started broadcasting on Show TV. She was recognized for her success as Nursema, the thirty-year-old religious daughter of a wealthy and conservative family who was educated but did not participate in working life. The events that started when the character in the series was pushed out of a window while fleeing from the rape of the man she was forced to marry and her rebellion against her family attracted great attention in the press and on social media. At the March 8 Women's Day events in Istanbul, banners were carried with the slogan "We are with you, Nursema, against the father, against the brother, against the fiancé you don't like, against the bridegroom, against the patriarchal capitalist order!" Karakoç revealed in a television program that many women have shared similar incidents with her since the forced marriage scene.
