Biography
Originally from Xochimilco, in the south of Mexico City, he debuted at age 10. At 14, he won the award for best actor in popular theater in Mexico City. Throughout his career, he has studied with teachers such as Regina Torné, Ricardo de Pascual, Rugiero Magaña, Sergio de Bustamante, Artús Chávez, Josefo Rodríguez, Geraldine Donnat, Carlos Álvarez, Carlos Torrestorija, and Luis Felipe Tovar, among others. Since 1998, he has served as director of “CATARSIS PRODUCCIONES,” which he founded and has produced for all 30 of its seasons. He has been the casting director for six independent short films and produced and directed his own play, “The Holy Inquisition: Terror, Madness, and Death in the Name of God.” In 2010, he directed and produced “The Legend of the Volcanoes,” a project in collaboration with CONACULTA (National Council for Culture and the Arts). In August 2005, he presented his first short film, "Matinne Dominical," an adventure he will never forget. He also wrote, acted in, and edited this short film, which was a great success at the "El Cine en las Calles 2005" festival and was presented as a special selection at the "Aquí en Brevo" festival at UBP. In 2006, IMDb added it to its film community. This short film continues to be screened at various short film festivals. In 2009, he produced and directed the short film "6-8." He is currently the president of the Circle of Dramatic Arts and Expression in Film S.C. She has acted in more than 50 short films, including: “On Earth as in Heaven” by Natalia López, “The Death of an Impure Dog” by Rafael Simón, produced by Catatonia Films, “I Who Was the Passing Lovebird” by Fernando Navarrete Gómez Farías, “Sports Spirit” by Javier Bourges, produced by IMCINE, and “Monday” by Alessandro Pederzoli. She has also appeared in the feature films “It's Better That Gabriela Doesn't Die” by Sergio Umansky and “The Holy Death” by Paco del Toro. As well as in telenovelas, unitary programs and series of Argos and Azteca TV, which also stand out: “Dos cuidadores en la ciudad”, “Ladrón de corazones”, “Zapata” Amor en rebelión, “Soñarás”, “Gitanas”, “Los platados”, as well as unitary programs, such as “Mujeres rompiendo el silencio” and series such as “Rosario Tijeras”, “Paquita la barrio”, “Nada Personal” “Las Malcriadas” and “Coleccionista” in its second and fifth season, as well as “Bardo” by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, among others.
