Antonino was born in the borough of East York in Toronto, Ontario. The second child to Italian immigrant parents, he has been involved in the performing arts since a young child. Sometimes credited as Nino, Anthony or Tony, he was also very invested in the creation of small projects over the years beginning in his mid teens. This ranged from stage plays to short films, to web series. In his high school graduating year he, along with fellow artists, completed a successful feature film which received some attention.
