Ai Jinno (神野 藍, Jin'no Ai, born August 29, 1999) is a Japanese writer and former AV actress from Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. During her time as an AV actress, she used the stage name Mao Watanabe (渡辺 まお, Watanabe Mao) and was affiliated with Krone. In the Chinese-speaking world, her name is written as 渡邊真央. Her body measurements while active were 85-58-84 (D cup) and her height is 1.5 m. Her hobbies are watching movies and dancing. She made her AV debut in May 2020 for SOD Create's newly formed label "Emoi Girl". She was a college student when she debuted, but she did not reveal the name of the university at that time. However, her debut became a hot topic when Kobunsha's FLASH magazine published on June 23, 2020 revealed that she was studying at the Faculty of Letters at Waseda University. On July 12, 2020, she tweeted that she had announced her AV debut to her parents. She later said in an interview that the reaction was not good. On November 14, 2021, she announced that she would be taking a break from her work as an AV actress in spring 2022 because she wanted to reflect on her future. She said that she would continue to do other work outside of the AV industry, such as event appearances and writing. On March 25, 2022, she announced that she had graduated from university. She said that the fact that her age and grade did not match those of her profile at the time of her debut "is a common occurrence in the AV industry." She announced her retirement as an AV actress on June 1, 2022. At first, she said that she would not stop her activities as Mao Watanabe. On June 14, 2022, she began working as a writer under the pen name Ai Jinno. Her pen name was taken from her favorite novel, “Chijin no Ai” (“A Fool's Love”) by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki.
