Kasim Ördek was born in 1992 in Diyarbakir. He spent his student life in Istanbul. In 2018, he shot his first short film "Kerata", which is his undergraduate graduation project. With this film, he succeeded in being a finalist in many National and International film festivals. His second short film "I become rain and fall into the city" was released in 2019 by T.C. It was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and made its Turkey premiere at the 56th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.
