Biography
Yuval Gonen, also known as Yuval Gargir, is an Israeli actress, model, and dancer from Givatayim, Israel, best known for her role as Arishit in the 2024 film Gladiator II. She has also appeared in popular Hebrew television series, including The Missing (2016), Dance Story (2018), and The Station (2019), contributing to contemporary Israeli cinema. Gonen spent her early years in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, where she grew up in a family with deep roots in Givatayim; her father worked for the Tel Aviv municipality, and her mother was involved in international shipping. She pursued higher education at Tel Aviv University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy between 2019 and 2022. Before fully committing to acting, Gonen was a professional dancer with the prestigious Batsheva Dance Company from 2013 to 2014, which provided her with a solid foundation in the performing arts. Her entry into film began with roles on Israeli television, gradually expanding her presence in national and international projects.
