Adrián Fernández, born on April 20, 1963, in Mexico City, is a renowned Mexican racing driver and team owner with a significant presence in the IndyCar Series. He began his motorsport career in Mexico, securing the Mexican Formula 3 championship in 1991. Fernández then moved to the United States to compete in the Indy Lights series, where he finished third in the championship.
In 1993, Fernández made his debut in the CART IndyCar World Series, initially driving for Galles Racing. He achieved his first victory in 1996 at the Toronto street circuit while racing for Tasman Motorsports. Over his career, he secured a total of 11 wins in IndyCar competitions.
