Gabriel Matzneff is a French author For his literary works, he received the Mottart and Amic prices from the French Academy , respectively in 1987 and 2009, the Renaudot essay price in 2013, the Cazes prices from the Lipp brewery and the Incorrect Book in 2015. In spite of his pedophile practices described without blatantly in his books, he remained sheltered from any criminal prosecution for a long time and benefited from a large support within the literary world.
