A graduate of MCI University, Karim El Shafei spent his 20s working on advertisements and music videos as Editor and Director. His first projects after film school were in the music video business. He created music videos for Samo Zaen, Razan Elmaghraby, Fayrouz, Swaggers and Marwa Nasr. His work won him recognition and a number of MEMA award nominations. He also filmed advertisements for Bogo Plus, Serene Juice and Healthy Smile Agency. Karim was honored by the "SA" as Director of the Year, he also directed many TV Shows, from then, he has achieved many hits as a director from documentary movies for the biggest companies and channels to music videos for many stars.
