Nina Gallagher is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with two bachelors degrees in Cinema Studies and Political Science. During her time at UTK she had two short films premiere at the Universities film festival, one of which was awarded best film. In her last year at UTK she was selected to direct a semester-long project film for her class titled Welcome, Sam. Welcome, Sam went on to be selected to premire at the Knoxville Film Festival in August of 2020. Nina was invited to be apart of a Festival-wide Q&A with her fellow directors and was interviewed about the film published in the UTK School of Art Magazine.
