Alejandro Rodríguez was born in Galicia in 1995.
He has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Vigo and a Master's degree in Film and TV Series Directing from the TAI School of Arts in Madrid. He combines his projects as a director with other jobs in the directing department in the film industry, as well as with his work as a member of the board of CREA, the Galician Association of Directing and Filmmaking Professionals.
He directed his first short film in 2016, entitled “Fume”. In 2022 he premieres “Nido”, his last fiction short film as a director, and “O que queda”, a documentary short film that is part of the latest catalogue "New Spanish Shorts" promoted by the ICAA (Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Government of Spain), in the 2Cool4School section.
