Biography
Thomas Elliott Griffiths is a first-class graduate in Film Studies and Film Production from Edge Hill University, England. Born and raised in the Ceiriog Valley of North Wales, Thomas' work as an independent filmmaker has often been adapted to fit his more rural surroundings. His debut documentary, Autism: A Curious Case of the Human Mind, earned Best Feature Documentary and Best of Festival awards at the 2017 Carmarthen Bay Film Festival, with the film going on to garner several nominations around the world. His following project, Sticks and Feathers (2018) saw his work awarded with the Best Factual Film prize in 2018 at Hothouse Theatre’s Nottingham Film Festival. Despite his success with the documentary format, Thomas has began to direct fictional short films as he prepares to direct his first feature film.
