Biography
A South Korean singer and actor, and a member of the boy group WEi under OUI Entertainment. He was a competitive taekwondo athlete for 13 years, winning the National Youth Sports Festival twice and the National Taekwondo Championship once. In 2009, he made a brief appearance as an extra in the drama Queen Seondeok. In 2019, he joined OUI Entertainment through an acting audition and participated in the Mnet survival show PRODUCE X 101, where he finished in first place and debuted as a member of X1. He officially debuted as an actor in 2020 with the web series A Love So Beautiful (the Korean remake of the Chinese drama), marking his first leading role. In 2021, he starred in the KBS2 drama School 2021 and won the Best New Actor award at the KBS Drama Awards. In 2025, he starred in the SBS drama TRY: We Become a Miracle, earning the Excellence Award for an Actor at the SBS Drama Awards.
