Alyssa Raghu was seen on American Idol ABC Season 1 (2018) and American Idol ABC Season 2 (2019). She made it through several rounds of eliminations beginning in Orlando, Florida and made her way to Hollywood, California. She wowed the judges and was a favorite of Katy Perry. She performed well and her audition has been seen by millions of people on YouTube. Alyssa made it to the Top 24 for the Season 1 ABC. Alyssa returned to the show for Season 2 (2019) and made the Live Rounds. She was voted by America into the Top 8. Her second appearance on the show resonated with fans who saw her as the come back kid who took the judges advice and worked hard to become a better performer and vocalists.
She has performed at several other venues locally in her home town of Orlando as well as New York City, Alabama and cities all around the United States. She continues to wow audiences with her soft yet powerful tone and breathtaking vocals.
Alyssa Raghu flourished in the musical chorus programs of both her middle school and high school. She became involved in acting and theater at Lake Nona High School where she was selected to star as Nina Rosario in the high school interpretation of Lin Manual Miranda's IN THE HEIGHTS. She was nominated for an Applause Award and the production was well received by fans and critics alike.
Alyssa Raghu also holds the position as Chair of the Global Citizen Committee at the World Heritage Cultural Center "Changing the way you see culture through Dance, Music & the Arts". 2018. She is actively pursuing her singing and acting career as well as participating in charitable causes championing women and children.
