Joseph Dominic Cruz is a filmmaker based in Metro Manila, Philippines. His short documentary-film, titled “Hope Spots” was selected for the 2019 Sinag Maynila Film Festival and the Global University Film Awards in Hong Kong. His 2020 short film “In Search Of” was a finalist for the 33rd CCP Gawad Alternatibo under the experimental category, while his 2021 short film “In Passing” was a part of the curated section of the 34th CCP Gawad Alternatibo under the animation category.
