Gunta Bāliņa is a Latvian choreographer, dancer, dance teacher. She was a ballet soloist at the Latvian National Opera (1971-1994), ballet teacher/repetitor (since 1993), chamber soloist of V. Goncharenko (1990-1992). Since 1994 lecturer at the Latvian Academy of Culture.
