Biography
Hernán Correa is known for Un viaje a Santiago (1960), Cabo de Hornos (1956) and Tres miradas a la calle (1957). Director, Documentalist, Photographer. He stands out not only as a filmmaker but as an activist in the defense and improvement of the legal conditions of Chilean cinema, and as a tireless globetrotter in his work of learning and incessant search for images. He has been cultivating photography since he was eighteen. He studied Civil Engineering at the Catholic University and between 1941 and 1942 he filmed the newsreel of the film industry.
