Debuting during the November 20 episode of SmackDown Live held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, Everfly appeared under the ring name Dane Bryant, one-half of the tag team billed as The Bryant Brothers with fellow independent wrestler Keita Murray as Wayne Bryant. They scored an upset victory over the dysfunctional tag team of Shane McMahon & The Miz at 1:33.
