Tripti Nadakar is a legendary actress of the "Golden Age" of Nepali cinema, celebrated for her expressive performances and her role in defining the industry's early blockbusters. Born in Darjeeling, she became a household name through her iconic partnership with Bhuwan K.C., debuting in the 1983 hit Samjhana, and starring in the cultural phenomenon Kusume Rumal (1985), which held the record as the highest-grossing Nepali film for over two decades. Her filmography is defined by timeless classics directed by Tulsi Ghimire, including Saino (1988), Lahure (1989), and Koseli (1993).
