Raj B Shetty was born in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. He completed his schooling from Bharathi English Medium School. Mangaluru and post graduated from School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru. He worked as an RJ (Radio jockey) for 92.7 Big FM for a few years.
