Biography
Pete Scalzitti is an American animator, director, editor, VFX artist, and accordionist. He animated "Snackatron 3000" 's face and full body VFX shots in Pizza Movie (Hulu, 2026). He animated, designed, and edited Kate Siegel's Stephen King written animated short "Lily" (Tribeca Film Festival 2025); he co-directed and animated "The Scariest Skeleton" with Mali Elfman (2024) and "Amy" by BRONTOSORUS (SXSW 2010); as an editor and cinematographer he toured with Ukrainian refugees to create documentary featurettes for the Met Opera's PBS program "The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra at the Kennedy Center" (2022), and similarly for The Met Opera's "Live in HD" series (2019-). As an accordionist, Pete received a Special Thanks credit in "Weird: The Al Yankovich Story" (2022) for teaching Daniel Radcliffe to play accordion for his portrayal of Weird Al.
