It’s her knack for blending in ever so comfortably and the willingness to lend her vocal talents that makes Rachel Viccaji special and so familiar in the music circuit. This talent has helped her create a niche as a voice-over artist, who often sings jingles as well as dabble in long-form improvised theatre as part of an acting troupe.
Surrounded by music while growing up, she got her formal training in Eastern Classical from Ustaad Rauf, and went on to perform as a main act at various venues with some mainstream acts across the country. Having been associated with the show for six seasons, she made her debut on Coke Studio, Season 5 in a duet with Overload. A household name in the Coke Studio family, Rachel returns in Season 9, as a backing vocalist and as a featured artist for the second time on the platform.
