Jessica Schwarz (born May 5, 1977, in Erbach, Hesse) is a German actress, voice-over artist, audiobook narrator, and television presenter. Schwarz grew up in Michelstadt, where her parents run the *Michelstädter Rathausbräu* brewpub and restaurant. Her career began in 1993 when she was chosen as the "Bravo-Girl." Shortly thereafter, she appeared twice on the cover of the magazine *Bravo Girl*. She subsequently worked as a model and later as a presenter for the music television channel VIVA, where she hosted the programs *Film ab* and *Interaktiv*. She also served as an online presenter for the ZDF show *Wetten, dass..?*. For several years now, she has focused primarily on acting. Schwarz gained wider recognition through roles in feature films such as *Perfume: The Story of a Murderer* and as Tony Buddenbrook in *Buddenbrooks*. She also garnered significant attention in 2009 for her portrayal of Romy Schneider in the German television film *Romy*. Furthermore, she worked as a voice actress on the German dubs of the animated films *Flushed Away* and *Surf's Up*. Together with Elyas M’Barek, she hosted the gala ceremony for the 2012 German Film Awards. Until the year 2000, the actress was in a relationship with comedian Oliver Pocher. Schwarz and actor Daniel Brühl met in 2001 during the filming of *Nichts bereuen* and remained a couple until 2006. In 2008, Schwarz and her sister opened a hotel and café in their hometown of Michelstadt. Between 2010 and 2019, she was in a relationship with Austrian cinematographer Markus Selikovsky. On July 24, 2021, she married her partner, Louis-Freytag Beckmann, in her hometown of Michelstadt. The couple has been together since March 2020 and opened a glamping hotel in Portugal in March 2021.
