The first time he played in Tamu Agung (1955), but his name was only known through Tiga Dara (1956) with his 'younger siblings' Mieke Wijaya and Indriati Iskak. Apart from being in demand, the film also made it more successful and the game more mature. Through his own company, namely Chitra Dewi Film Production, he became a director in the film Horsemen of Tjimande, Dara-Dara and Bercinta Dalam Gelap, all of which were produced in 1971. In addition, he has been a producer in 2 x 4 Djam (1969) and Samiun & Dasima (1970). After starring in Tiga Dara, his games that were considered prominent were through Pedjuang (1960), Samiun and Dasima (1970), Bulan Above the Grave (1973), Kemelut Hidup (1977) and Gara Gara Muda Wife (1978). In this last film, she won the Citra Award for a female supporting actress at FFI 1979. When asked about her career as a producer she said that she had given up making films. His career as a player is still in demand 40 years after his first film, although not a major role. He also appeared on the screen.
