A Hall of Fame player with the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1970s, Dierdorf transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting after his playing career ended in 1983.
He began his media career with CBS before moving to ABC’s Monday Night Football in 1987, where he spent over a decade as one of the league’s most prominent analysts.
