Akio Watanabe (渡辺 明夫, Watanabe Akio, July 13, 1969) is a Japanese animator, illustrator, character designer and animation director from Tokyo. He sometimes is credited under the name 渡辺 あきお (same pronunciation) and Poyoyon Rock (as an illustrator). He belongs to Frontwing. He formerly worked at Studio Hibari.
