Upcoming in 2026 – Debra Hale (Toronto Actress) is the groom’s aunt in ‘Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen’ (Netflix; 3 episodes), a beloved mentor in ‘Duty To Report’ (TV movie) and the Camp Coordinator/cooking contest judge in the comedy ‘Campfire Cookof’f (Roku). Current TV/Film Credits – ‘Relative Dange’r (TV movie), ‘Christmas By Design’ (TV movie), ‘Pocketdial Murder’ (TV movie), ‘SurrealEstate’ (TV Series), ‘Murdoch Mysteries’ (TV Series), ‘Fake Nice’ (CFC) ‘Titan’s (TV Series) and others.
Her theatrical successes include the two-woman, multi-character, comedy/drama ‘Freedom 85’ which Debra wrote and performed in. Touring extensively, including NYC, the play garnered great acclaim from audiences and critics alike. When the pandemic hit, moving into editing and directing short videos was a natural evolution for Debra. Born and raised in Guelph, Ont. Canada, and a long-time advocate of dog rescue initiatives, this passionate dog lover has welcomed three wonderful rescue dogs into her home, vowing never to be without a canine in her life.
Debra is also a self-described theatre-junkie whose hobbies include travelling, painting, cooking, cycling, playing euchre and visiting family and friends.
