Biography
Cory Walker is an American comic book artist renowned for his dynamic storytelling and clean, expressive art style. He rose to prominence as the co-creator and initial artist of Invincible, the acclaimed superhero series co-created with writer Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics. Walker was the penciler for the first seven issues, establishing the series' visual identity and co-creating characters like Mark Grayson (Invincible) and Omni-Man. Beyond Invincible, Walker has collaborated with Kirkman on several projects, including Battle Pope, Destroyer MAX, and The Irredeemable Ant-Man. He also contributed artwork to DC Comics' Shadowpact series. In addition to his comic book work, Walker served as the lead designer for the animated adaptation of Invincible, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021. Walker has received multiple accolades for his work, including nominations for the Annie Award (2021), Saturn Award (2022), and Critics' Choice Television Award (2025).
