Born in Hamburg, Germany in 1985, he has been studying animation at the School of Art and Design Kassel since 2008. His work as a director includes the short animated films SCHATTENGEWÄCHS (2010), ANDERSARTIG
(2011) and A KIND OF SAD STORY (2012). THE OLD MAN AND THE BIRD (2015) is his
graduation film.
