Biography
Jake Silbermann is an American actor, writer, director, producer and former model best known for his role as Noah Mayer in the soap opera "As The World Turns (2007 - 2010)." Mr. Silbermann made his commercial debut in an international campaign for "Gillette Fusion Power" in 2006. He had his first daytime appearance in the defunct soap opera "Guiding Light (2007)," but it wasn't until his portrayal of Noah Mayer in As The World turns, as one-half of the first gay super couple on daytime television, that his name gained popularity. Since then, He balanced his career as an actor with his career as a model for DNA Model Management. He also developed the short film "Stuffer (2010)," a project that paved his future as a writer, actor and producer. Stuffer, was admitted into 25 film festivals and won 6 awards in total. After his run in As The World Turns, Mr. Silbermann delved in his origins as a stage actor, He starred in Off-Broadway productions like "Dracula (2010)" and "Phaedra Bakwards (2011)," which encouraged him to found his own theatre company. "The Camisade Theatre Company" was founded in 2011 with the involvement of the actor Malcolm Madera and the writer Samuel Brett Williams. Together, they gave life to "Derby Day (2011)", an Off-Broadway play they took to cities like New York, Los Angeles, Little Rock, and Edinburgh (Scotland). Mr. Silbermann continued performing under the wing of the critically acclaimed playwright David Adjmi in productions such as "3C (2012)" and "Marie Antoinette (2012)." Later, He had his breakthrough on Broadway with the play "The Assembled Parties (2013)" of the director Richard Greenberg, where He shared the stage with actors of the caliber of Judith Light, Jessica Hecht and Jeremy Shamos. Mr. Silbermann's love for the stage never fade, his performances in "Picasso at the Lapin Agile (2014)" and "Danny and the deep blue sea (2023)," understudying Christopher Abbot, are proof of his passion for theatre. In 2026, he took part of the 6 times Tony winner play "Death of a Salesman" on Broadway next to Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf. Jake Silbermann had several guest roles in prime time TV series like "Gossip Girl (2008)," "The Good Wife (2011)," "Person of Interest (2014)," "The Marvelous Ms. Maisel (2018)," "Bull (2019)," "The Blacklist (2023)" and more. He also co-starred in independent films such as "Let me make you a martyr (2016),"Pain and Suffering: A legal comedy (2017),""The Report (2019)," "Twelve (2019),""The Atlantic city story (2020)," among others. In 2018, he gained fame in the world of video games when he provided the voice and motion capture of Captain Lyndon Monroe in the video game "Red Dead Redemption 2" by RockStar Games. In 2024, He co-founded "Secret Beach Productions LLC," a full-service film, video, and theatrical production house based in Brooklyn, with the actress, Erica Pappas. They successfully produced the short films "Little One (2024)" and "Stockholm (2026)," and developed their first feature film "Barbizon (2026)", a project written by Mr. Silbermann in which He's also acting, producing and making his directorial debut.
