Dimitris Arvanitis is a Greek film and television writer, director and cinematographer. He began photography in 1966 and had two solo exhibitions in Athens. He started his film career in 1973 and has directed and produced films, television shows, and open-space performances. His directorial repertoire is a testament to his versatility and creative prowess, encompassing five feature films, six short films, 296 television documentaries, 1,285 television drama episodes, 24 corporate videos, and 21 events. For the past few years, D. Arvanitis has proven to be the number-one choice for all the TV stations in Greece. His T.V. series has the most prominent viewing figures daily, with an astonishing average of 37% and 1.700.000 viewers in a total of 10.000.000 (active population).
