Biography
Kim Jeong-kwon (김정권) is a South Korean film and television director born on March 6, 1969. He made his feature film directorial debut with the hit romantic fantasy film Ditto (2000), for which he won the Best New Director award at the Chunsa Film Art Awards. Kim established a career directing acclaimed romance and drama films, including A Letter from Mars (2003), BA:BO (2008), and Heartbreak Library (2008). In recent years, he transitioned to television directing, helming prominent series such as the Netflix original romantic comedy Love to Hate You (2023), the fantasy series Kokdu: Season of Deity (2023), and the music drama Maestra: Strings of Truth (2023–2024).
