Biography
Conrad Faraj is a Honduran-American filmmaker based in Cleveland, Ohio. Known for his bold visual storytelling and passion for genre cinema, Faraj has directed four feature films and dozens of award-winning shorts. His viral YouTube series Mudblood sparked a global fanbase, amassing over 60 million views on TikTok, while his NBC/Universal-backed short film Wedding Runner won first place in a national competition. A self-taught director who began making films at age 13, Faraj's first major short The Artist was hand-selected by Robert Duvall and James Caan for OpenFilm’s Spotlight Series. Since then, his work has screened at film festivals across the country - including the Cleveland International Film Festival, Burbank International, the Orlando Film Festival, and Filmapalooza - and most recently, his horror-comedy Love Sucks was featured in the 2024 Cannes Short Film Corner. A four-time winner of the 48 Hour Film Project in multiple cities, Faraj was named one of the "Best Directors Under 30" by the Los Angeles Film Awards. He has collaborated with major brands including Warner Brothers and NBC, and continues to build an online audience of over 400,000 followers through cinematic content that blends heart, humor, and high-concept storytelling.
