Salim Ahamed is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer working in the Malayalam film industry. He made his directorial debut with Adaminte Makan Abu (2011), which received critical acclaim, won multiple national and state awards, and was selected as India’s official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.
He later directed Kunjananthante Kada (2013), Pathemari (2015), and And the Oscar Goes To… (2019). In addition to directing, Salim Ahamed has also worked as a producer on select projects.
