Jyoti Chandekar is an Indian actress known for her work in the Marathi film industry. Her daughter, Tejaswini Pandit, is also a popular Marathi actress. The mother-daughter duo starred in the 2015 award-winning movie Ticha Umbarthaa, directed by Dipti Ghonsikar. Jyoti essayed the role of Tejaswini mother-in-law in the movie and the duo won Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor at the 2015 Zee Gaurav Awards. Jyoti has also starred in the movies Mee Sindhutai Sapkal (2010) and Guru (2016). Her 2017 release includes the movie Deva Ek Atrangi directed by Murali Nallapa.
