Kajal Aggarwal (born 19 June 1985) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. She made a brief screen appearance in the Hindi film *Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...* (2004) before making her lead acting debut in Teja's Telugu romantic drama *Lakshmi Kalyanam* (2007), followed by her Tamil debut in *Pazhani* (2008). Her breakthrough came with her portrayal of Yuvarani Mitravinda and Indira in S. S. Rajamouli's fantasy action film *Magadheera* (2009), for which she received a Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu nomination. Her subsequent film roles included *Darling* (2010), *Brindavanam* (2010), *Mr. Perfect* (2011), Rohit Shetty's action film *Singham* (2011), *Businessman* (2012), A. R. Murugadoss's action film *Thuppakki* (2012), *Naayak* (2013), Neeraj Pandey's heist thriller *Special 26* (2013), *Baadshah* (2013), *Govindudu Andarivadele* (2014), *Temper* (2015), *Khaidi No. 150* (2017), *Nene Raju Nene Mantri* (2017), *Vivegam* (2017), *Mersal* (2017), the psychological drama *Awe!* (2018), and the comedy film *Comali* (2019). In 2020, a wax statue of her was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Singapore. She later starred alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna in Anil Ravipudi's film *Bhagavanth Kesari* (2023) and played ACP Satyabhama IPS in the investigative crime thriller *Satyabhama* (2024). Her other film credits include S. Shankar's vigilante action films *Indian 2* (2024) and *Indian 3*, the mythological fantasy film *Kannappa* (2025), A. R. Murugadoss's action film *Sikandar* (2025), and the social drama *The India Story* (2026). She is also part of the ensemble cast of Nitesh Tiwari's multi-part mythological film *Ramayana*.
