Ryotaro Makihara (牧原 亮太郎, Makihara Ryōtarō, born 1980) is a Japanese anime animator and director from Aichi Prefecture. After working for animation production companies such as Telecom, Shinei Animation and Production I.G., he is currently working mainly at WIT STUDIO.
