A pair of mismatched twins wait for a deal to start their own Legend.
On the night of a highly anticipated Super Duper Moon, two people embark on an intimate nighttime journey together. As clouds obscure the sky and the night stretches on, anticipation gives way to waiting, uncertainty, and presence. With the spectacle they planned for absent, the meaning of the evening must be negotiated through behavior, silence, and choice—revealing whether love is sustained by symbols or by staying.
Working with the archive, I observe how documentary memory conflicts with personal memory—this sense of displacement and substitution creates a complex system of distortions, reminiscent of a dream. I am fascinated by how layers of memory intertwine, erase each other, rewrite, and form new meanings.
In this film, I examine VHS archives shot in 1996 by my mother and her friend. They were studying with Boris Yukhananov and experimenting extensively with the camera, exploring its tactile properties as an extension of their gaze and body.
