Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling celebrated its 10th anniversary at the "Slammiversary 2012" pay-per-view event in Arlington, Texas. This was TNA's first televised event from the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex area. The annual live, anniversary pay-per-view extravaganza sponsored by Direct Auto Insurance was Sunday night, June 10, 2012 at The College Park Center in Arlington. UFC 185: Pettis vs. dos Anjos was a mixed martial arts event held on March 14, 2015 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The event was headlined by a UFC Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Anthony Pettis and top contender Rafael dos Anjos. The co-main event featured a UFC Women's Strawweight Championship bout between current champion Carla Esparza and top contender Joanna Jędrzejczyk.

Strikeforce: At The Mansion II was a mixed martial arts event held on September 20, 2008. The event took place at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, California. In addition to the event, all guests were entitled to a top-shelf, open bar; buffet-style, gourmet dinner; and wine-tasting party featuring the spirits of various California gold medal wineries.

Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields was a mixed martial arts event held by the MMA organization Strikeforce. It was held in St. Louis, Missouri on June 6, 2009. The event drew an estimated 275,000 viewers on Showtime.

UFC on Fox 29: Poirier vs. Gaethje was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that was held on April 14, 2018, at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The event was headlined by a lightweight bout between Dustin Poirier and former WSOF Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje.

Volume 6 toured Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City. The tape introduced former AND1 player and New York streetball legend Tyrone "Alimoe" Evans AKA The Black Widow. The 6'8" Alimoe impressed people with his fancy ball handling moves as well as his slam dunks. This tape also introduced Troy "Escalade" Jackson and was the year he got signed to the AND1 Team.

UFC 224: Nunes vs. Pennington is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on May 12, 2018, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann was a mixed martial arts event held live by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on Saturday March 3, 2012 at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia. The event also made history by playing host the first ever flyweight fights in UFC history as part of the semifinals for the Flyweight Tournament, the winner of which would be crowned the inaugural UFC Flyweight Champion.

UFC 144: Edgar vs. Henderson was a mixed martial arts pay-per-view event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on February 26, 2012 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

UFC on FX 3: Johnson vs. McCall 2 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 8, 2012, at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. Because of a scoring error at UFC on FX: Alves vs. Kampmann, a majority draw between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall was mistakenly announced as a victory for Johnson. Dana White announced the error following the conclusion of the event and that Johnson and McCall would have a rematch.

WEC 17: Halloween Fury 4 was a mixed martial arts event promoted by World Extreme Cagefighting on October 14, 2005 at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. A light heavyweight tournament was held with the winner being crowned the champion and given a deal with the UFC.

UFC on Fox 30: Alvarez vs. Poirier 2 was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on July 28, 2018 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. A lightweight rematch between former two-time Bellator Lightweight Champion and former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier was the main event of the card. Their first bout at UFC 211 in May 2017 was ruled a no contest after Alvarez hit a downed Poirier with illegal knees in the second round.
