Reinaldo Cutipa lives with Matilde, his overprotective mother. When Reinaldo wants to go live with his girlfriend, Rosaura, Matilde is against it, triggering a chain of events that ultimately leads to a tragic crisis.

Amy is only 13 years old when her mother is killed. She goes to Canada to live with her father, an eccentric inventor whom she barely knows. While attempting to maintain their composure and professionalism, Anna and Mike struggle to come to terms with their infidelity.

A small mountain community in Canada is devastated when a school bus accident leaves more than a dozen of its children dead.
