When '80s B-movie icon Tim Thomerson wakes up one day to realize the acting roles are not coming his way any more, he sets out on a quest to find his former co-star Lance Henriksen to discover his secret of Hollywood longevity and gets more than he bargained for in the process.

In 1916, the name of the French fortress town of Verdun came to symbolize the greatest battle of attrition of all time - a portent of mass death on the battlefields of the 20th century. Based on selected individual fates, the film "The Hell of Verdun" tells the story of a military inferno in which people were regarded as material, not as individuals. This film is dedicated to my 1-year-old daughter Hana/花(which means “flowers”) and my 3-year-old daughter Nemu/眠(which means “sleep”) who learns Hiragana recently. The reason why I created this film is that I wanted to show them “the magic” that their favorite Teddy bear can move.
