Das Haus im Ginster

Romain, a German professor, and Sara, a young woman, are driving through the south of France. Sara doesn’t say a word, yet she dictates the course of the trip. Late at night, the two arrive at the secluded vacation home in the mountains. Romain and Sara are alone in the house for just one night. The next day, Andrea joins them. Andrea is Romain’s wife. And she is Sara’s mother. Andrea realizes that something has happened between her husband and her daughter, but at first she sees no reason—and soon no way—to intervene in this process of longing and desire.
