The Four Alps

The European Alps are the most famous mountains on Earth. However, there are three other mountain ranges that owe their names to the first European Explorers, one in the Northern and two in the Southern Hemisphere. The European and Japanese Alps are almost identical worlds yet the Australian and the Southern Alps of New Zealand couldn't be more different.
